Happy, happy birthday! To celebrate Paper Pumpkin’s birthday we received two birthday stamp sets in this month amazing kit that includes an adorable “pop up” for the inside of the card!! I decided I wanted to take turns using a different “birthday bundles” on each card. Since the pop up for the inside is so adorable I felt I couldn’t improve on that, in fact, I didn’t even want to try;)
For this card I used the “Amazing Life” stamp set, that includes sentiments like “Happy Birthday, You are amazing, So happy to have you in my life, I believe in you, yay, good luck, and of course Life’s too short to say no to cake”.
I began by using the adorable polka dot balloon stamp included in the Paper Pumpkin kit using colors that match the colors in the polka dot card base and punched them out using Stampin’ Up’s balloon punch. On Daffodil Delight cardstock I stamped the sentiment with Poppy Parade included in the kit, Black Memento for the cake and Bermuda Bay for the border.
Using the white tread included in the kit I made a “slip” knot and attached it to the bottom of the balloon using a glue dot from the kit. The Frosted Flower embellishments add the perfect accent just above the sentiment.
Paper Pumpkin kits have been arriving at my home in the middle of the month for over a year now and I have loved every one of them and the price is so reasonable at only $20.00/month (including shipping). Kits are complete with EVERYTHING you need to complete the projects on the instructions including adhesives, you don’t even need scissors. It’s easy to add some of your own supplies to change things up a little like I have. You can cancel anytime.
