Besides the obvious beauty and simplicity of Stampin’ Up’s monthly card kit Paper Pumpkin, this kit makes creating cards so simple because all I have to do is lay out the contents of my Paper Pumpkin package and I can just start putting things together.

It really pains me to cut the gorgeous Designer card stock included in these monthly kits so I closed my eyes and cut  half an inch off the edge of the So Saffron card base then cut a 1 1/2 inch strip from the Mint Macaron, So Saffron and Flirty Flaming card stock and adhered it to the inside edge of the card base (don’t worry I used the rest on another card). Wrap the white twine around the card three times and tie a bow. Cut the flowers from the other Designer Series Card stock, stamp “Thank You” with the Gray Granite ink spot from the kit on the Flirty Flamingo label and popped them both up with the dimensional’s included in the kit.

For this card I adhered the half inch strip from the card base above to the left side of the “word” card base. The kit includes a sturdy clear box to hold the cards you make which would make a lovely gift for any occasion, and in the example provided they used the above flower and leaves to decorate the box. Since I plan on using my cards for myself (selfish, I know) I used them on this birthday card.

Adhere the corrugated strip at the lower part of the card, and stamp “Happy Birthday”  onto the Mint Macaron label with the gray granite ink spot. Pop the flower and label up with the dimensional’s  and add the beautiful Mint Macaron enamel dots…so beautiful and so simple!

Paper Pumpkin kits have been arriving at my home in the middle of the month for over a year now and I have loved every one of them and the price is so reasonable at only $22.00/month (including shipping). Kits are complete with EVERYTHING you need to complete the projects on the instructions including adhesives, you don’t even need scissors. It’s easy to add some of your own supplies to change things up a little like I have. You can cancel anytime.
