A Vintage “Thank you”

When it comes to lace and flowers there is simply never enough! I’ve always been a “girly girl”, maybe it’s the southern blood in me that attracts me to anything vintage, lace and bows. Is bling southern, well, maybe southern California, anyway I just love the new Southern Serenade stamp set from Stampin’ Up. The sentiments are beautiful and the LACE! Took me a while to decide what to do with this but I think I’m pleased with the outcome. I used the wrong color green at the base of the flowers and I’ll do anything to avoid starting over so I dipped into my stash and found some Avocado liquid pearls by Ranger that worked out alright, I also used black Nuvo crystal drops for the center of the flowers to add dimension, you can find these online or at the craft store.

About the Author:

I am a proud mother of 4 and even prouder grandmother of 5. I started "stamping" over 25 years ago and stopped stamping about 10 years after that because I was so frustrated with my results. Enter Pinterest. Inspired by Pinterest and Youtube I got involved again and oh man am I obsessed! I fell in love with Stampin' Up products after seeing all the amazing cards on Pinterest. I chose Stampin' Up because I love how simple it is to make a gorgeous card with all their coordinating colors and products. Hope you enjoy my website.
