Besides the obvious beauty and simplicity of Stampin’ Up’s monthly card kit Paper Pumpkin, this kit makes creating cards so simple because all I have to do is lay out the contents of my Paper Pumpkin package and I can just start putting things together. I hated covering up the gorgeous color “splats” on the background cards included in the kit, the Mint Macaron, Flirty Flamingo,  and So Saffron compliment each other so beautifully! I would never have come up with using Gray Granite for a flower but you can see how beautiful it is in the card below.

Most of the supplies used on the above card are from the Paper Pumpkin, I added the leaves with Mint Macaron card stock and my leaf punch, even the enamel dots come with the kit. I stamped one flower in Gray Granite and the other in Flirty Flamingo, then added some sparkle with my Wink of Stella pen. The card base I used for this is the “typewriter” card base included in the kit, then centered the full length color “spats”, used my glue dots (included in kit) to adhere the leaves, then “popped” up the flowers and sentiment with the Stampin’ Dimensional’s also included in the kit.  Isn’t it beautiful?

Happy Mother's Day

This Polka dot card base adds dimension while the color “splat” background card stock adds a romantic subtile color. I adhered the corrugated card stock to the card base, then stamped the flower and leaves using the Gray Granite stamp spot included in  the kit onto the Mint Macaron and So Saffron card stock. Wrap the Whisper White twine included in the kit to wrap around the stamped card stock a couple of times and tie a bow. Embellish with the Mint Macaron enamel dots included in the kit, stamp the sentiment onto the label, provided in the kit and you are done!

Paper Pumpkin kits have been arriving at my home in the middle of the month for over a year now and I have loved every one of them and the price is so reasonable at only $22.00/month (including shipping). Kits are complete with EVERYTHING you need to complete the projects on the instructions including adhesives, you don’t even need scissors. It’s easy to add some of your own supplies to change things up a little like I have. You can cancel anytime.
