I learned how to type on an old Royal typewriter when I was about 11 years old because I wanted to be just like my amazing dad who wrote a human interest column for the local newspaper. My parents have 8 children and it wasn’t uncommon to be the subject of his article from time to time (I hated it then, but treasure them now;). This stamp set is so versatile because there are many sentiments that you can stamp on the paper in the typewriter, “you’re just my type”, “you’re the best”, “dear friend”,” P.O.”, “miss you”, “I love you”. I heat embossed the typewriter, and pen and really like the results.
After using the Textured Tin Tile Dynamic Embossing folder on the Galvanized Metallic paper, (yes it really is as cool as it sounds) I used my brayer to lightly roll over the impressions to add depth to the card stock.
I can’t tell you how much I love this embossing folder! With this folder, and any Dynamic embossing folder you will get a better result if you lightly spritz you card stock with water. It is also important to remember to run the folded portion through the Big Shot first to avoid damaging your embossing folder, this is true for ANY embossing folder not just the Dynamic.
