This month I was so behind in my birthday cards I decided to go through my favorite stamp sets with birthday greetings and put them back to work. When the Lift Me Up bundle made its appearance I used it constantly, then as I added to my collection as with all things it got dusty on the shelf. There is something mysterious and romantic about a hot air balloon ride and Stampin’ Up has included sentiments like, “you soar above the rest, congratulations! and “Thanks for lifting me up!” making this perfect for so many occasions.
The coordinating thinlits created the balloon on this card, clouds and individual thinlits to back each layer in the balloon. I adhered the Cherry Cobbler balloon to the back of one of the vellum circles included in the kit, then used the thinlits to back the vellum with gold and another thinlit to back the basket with Crumb Cake…so simple!
Paper Pumpkin kits have been arriving at my home in the middle of the month for over a year now and I have loved every one of them and the price is so reasonable at only $20.00/month (including shipping). Kits are complete with EVERYTHING you need to complete the projects on the instructions including adhesives, you don’t even need scissors. It’s easy to add some of your own supplies to change things up a little like I have. You can cancel anytime.
