I’m a little bit country, and when I say a “little” bit I mean a teeny, tiny bit because I’ll take rhinestones over turquoise any day but a rooster in a field, I just couldn’t resist and the extra bonus is that this stamp set is free with a $50.00 purchase! Sale-A-Bration is in full swing and Pinterest is full of creative ideas to use the free products you can earn. There was a card very similar to this in the Demonstrator newsletter we receive on a quarterly basis.
One of the things I loved about this card was the sky background, something I’ve never tried before and it is so easy and can be done in several different ways. I made mine by pressing the lid of my Balmy Blue ink pad until I had a splotch on the inside of the lid, then I used my Aqua Painter to dip into the color on the lid and wash is over the card. I really love this effect.
You can also do this by using a blue water color pencil, scribble some lines across your paper then going over it with the Aqua Painter, you can also use a blue re-inker instead of you ink pad. Play around with all these techniques and see which one you prefer.
Sale-A-Bration is my favorite time of year where you can earn free stamps, paper, ribbon, embellishments, or a card kit with every $50.00 you spend. With a purchase of $100.00 you can earn the beautiful Tea Time Framelits Dies that coordinate with the Tea Together stamp set in the 2019 Occasions Catalog. If you do not have a catalog please let me know and I will be happy to send you one free of charge.
