Flourish Filigree with Stampin’ Up

Flourish Filigree

I LOVE filigree’s and this one is irresistible! It was love at first site! The lines (or should I say “curves”) are so detailed and delicate lending an elegant feel to this simple card. When I stamp an image like this my first thought is to go with a metallic color but I really love the heat embossed Calypso Coral, it’s so fun to play with color…I just love my job!!

I heat embossed the vines from Sweet Storybook stamps set with Old Olive paper and ink. The sentiment is Old Olive ink on Vellum card stock with Crushed Curry background both punched with the Pretty Label punch.

Card Recipe:

  • Very Vanilla card stock 8½ x ¼, scored at 4¼, 5 x 3¾
  • Tea Room DSP card stock 5¼ x 4
  • Old Olive scraps for Vines
  • Crushed curry scraps to back sentiment and flowers
  • Calypso Coral scraps for flowers
  • Rich Razzelberry scraps for flowers
  • Vellum Cardstock

About the Author:

I am a proud mother of 4 and even prouder grandmother of 5. I started "stamping" over 25 years ago and stopped stamping about 10 years after that because I was so frustrated with my results. Enter Pinterest. Inspired by Pinterest and Youtube I got involved again and oh man am I obsessed! I fell in love with Stampin' Up products after seeing all the amazing cards on Pinterest. I chose Stampin' Up because I love how simple it is to make a gorgeous card with all their coordinating colors and products. Hope you enjoy my website.
