Enjoy Your Special Day with Stampin’ Up’s Springtime Foils Designer Series Paper

It is amazing to me how many spectacular cards have been created by using Stampin’ Up’s elegant Springtime Foils Designer Series Paper, among the dozens of cards I’ve seen this one by Sandy Hancock really stood out to me, it is simply elegant and I thought it was the perfect Mother’s Day card for my next card class. You can easily whip this up in 15-20 minutes, unless you don’t rush through the coloring like I did. Please don’t tell my granddaughter, Aliyah I went out of the lines, she is very fussy about that. Be sure to stamp your sentiment (from Dragonfly Dreams) BEFORE you run it through your Big Shot with the Simple Stripes embossing folder, oh the frustration I save you;)

Card Recipe:

Paper:

  • Pink Pirouette card base 8½ x 4½, scored at 4¼, scrap for scallop oval (I used the second largest)
  • Whisper White card stock 5¼ x 4 (2, one for inside), scrap for oval
  • Springtime Foils, cut out flowers & leaves

Stamp Set & Framelets

  • Dragonfly Dreams for sentiment
  • Layering Ovals Framlets

Color:

  • Pink Pirouette ink pad
  • Light & dark Pink Pirouette Stampin’ Blends (these are out of stock until late May but you can use Stampin’ Write Markers)
  • Light & dark Old Olive Stampin’ Blends (these are out of stock until late May but you can use Stampin’ Write Markers)

Other:

  • Simple Stripes embossing folder
  • Rhinestone Basic Jewels
  • Snail Adhsive
  • Stampin Dimensionals

About the Author:

I am a proud mother of 4 and even prouder grandmother of 5. I started "stamping" over 25 years ago and stopped stamping about 10 years after that because I was so frustrated with my results. Enter Pinterest. Inspired by Pinterest and Youtube I got involved again and oh man am I obsessed! I fell in love with Stampin' Up products after seeing all the amazing cards on Pinterest. I chose Stampin' Up because I love how simple it is to make a gorgeous card with all their coordinating colors and products. Hope you enjoy my website.
