DIY Thinking of You using Stampin’ Up’s Serene Garden stamp bundle

Thinking of You with Serene Garden

I finally got my shipment from the new catalog and I’m having the time of my life playing with my new supplies. This bundle threw me for a minute because I didn’t take the time to learn how the thinlits work. I began creating with the impression the thinlit for right corner would cut out the image, instead it is an embossing thinlit so I had switch things up a bit. There is a thinlit that matches the image but only cuts out several of the leaves, again I was skeptical but I’m really pleased with way the whole thing came together.

Like most, I’m never happy about change and wasn’t happy to see the Designer Series Paper and some of my favorite colors retire, close one door and several more open! I love the new colors and papers, I spend way too much time trying to decide which one to use first, whine, whine, whine;)

About the Author:

I am a proud mother of 4 and even prouder grandmother of 5. I started "stamping" over 25 years ago and stopped stamping about 10 years after that because I was so frustrated with my results. Enter Pinterest. Inspired by Pinterest and Youtube I got involved again and oh man am I obsessed! I fell in love with Stampin' Up products after seeing all the amazing cards on Pinterest. I chose Stampin' Up because I love how simple it is to make a gorgeous card with all their coordinating colors and products. Hope you enjoy my website.
