What is it about Mason jars that makes it so special? For me I presume it conjures up memories of time with my mom peeling bushels and bushels of peaches, pears and sometime apricots while mom prepared the jars and boiled the fruit in a delicious sugar syrup, more likely it is the joy of eating the “fruits” of our combined labor. I had a hard time coming up with a color combination I felt good about, finally settled on Fresh Fig and Powder Pink with a dark wood back ground from the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper. I tried “flicking” my Fresh Fig marker for the first time because I love the effect and was so surprised at how easy it is and not messy at all, I admit that was my biggest concern!

Card Recipe:

Paper:

  • Whisper White cardstock 8½ x 11, scored at 4¼, 5¼ x 2¾, scrap for jar
  • Fresh Fig cardstock 5¼ x 4
  • Dark Wood Textures Designer Series Paper 3 ¾ x 5

Stamp Set & Framelets:

  • Jar of Love stamp set
  • Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set
  • Lots of Labels Framelets  I used the largest (I put my 5¼ x 3¾ Whisper White on Big Shot with half the frame off the platform)
  • Everyday Jars Framelets
  • Classic Label Punch (tag)

Ink:

  • Fresh Fig Stamp Pad
  • Pool Party Stamp Pad
  • Powder Pink Stamp Pad
  • Wild Wasabi Stamp Pad
  • Basic Gray Stamp Pad
  • Basic Black Stamp Pad
  • Wink of Stella for flowers
  • Fresh Fig Stampin Write Marker, I used this to color the Whisper White Organza Ribbon, it took forever to dry and smeared on the card, this works better with Stampin’ Blends Markers but they don’t have Fresh Fig and a girl wants what a girl want:/)

Other:

  • Whisper White Organza Ribbon
  • Linen Thread
  • Snail Adhesive
  • Stampin’ Dimensionals
