DIY Birthday Card using Stampin’ Up’s Amazing Painted with Love DSP

Need an idea for a super easy, super fast, super amazing birthday card? Your search is over! Saw this card on Pinterest posted by stampingala.com and fell in love. I really like all the layers, and the use of two embossing folders adding interest and texture. Stampin’ UP’s Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series paper is so spectacular, probably one of my all time favorites (seems like I say that a lot).

The Cake Soiree bundle has the most remarkable stamps and thinlets, I just love the font they used for “happy birthday”, the original stamp says “May your day be as wonderful as you Happy Birthday. I only wanted to use the “Happy Birthday” part, and because it’s on a separate line I just trimmed it off. The nice thing is, I can still use the original sentiment by just stamping them both together. I also love the banner thinlet in this bundle it’s so pretty and feminine. If you love the bundle and you want to purchase it, do so before May 31st and save 10%.

About the Author:

I am a proud mother of 4 and even prouder grandmother of 5. I started "stamping" over 25 years ago and stopped stamping about 10 years after that because I was so frustrated with my results. Enter Pinterest. Inspired by Pinterest and Youtube I got involved again and oh man am I obsessed! I fell in love with Stampin' Up products after seeing all the amazing cards on Pinterest. I chose Stampin' Up because I love how simple it is to make a gorgeous card with all their coordinating colors and products. Hope you enjoy my website.
