August 2018 Paper Pumpkin #1 with Stampin’ Up

I had just received my Sweet Storybook bundle a couple of days before I got my Paper Pumpkin and the minute I saw the floral card with the white section in the middle I knew what I wanted to do. Unfortunately I made a HUGE coloring boo boo on the mushroom so instead of starting over I decided to cut off the top just for the heck of it. No doubt it would be so much cuter with the top of the mushroom but I thought was kind of a cute change.

I’m not sure if you can tell by the photo, but instead of using the beautiful vine that comes with the stamp set I used the vellum vines that came with the paper pumpkin. These mice are soooo adorable!

The Paper Pumpkin kits have been arriving at my home in the middle of the month for over a year now and I have loved every one of them and the price is so reasonable at only $20.00/month (including shipping). The kits are complete with EVERYTHING you need to complete the projects on the instructions including adhesives, you don’t even need scissors. It’s easy to add some of your own supplies to change things up a little like I have. You can cancel anytime, and next month they promise an fun Halloween project, I can hardly wait!

About the Author:

I am a proud mother of 4 and even prouder grandmother of 5. I started "stamping" over 25 years ago and stopped stamping about 10 years after that because I was so frustrated with my results. Enter Pinterest. Inspired by Pinterest and Youtube I got involved again and oh man am I obsessed! I fell in love with Stampin' Up products after seeing all the amazing cards on Pinterest. I chose Stampin' Up because I love how simple it is to make a gorgeous card with all their coordinating colors and products. Hope you enjoy my website.
