Here is a super simple alternative for Stampin’ UP’s August 2018 Paper Pumpkin. I really love the sentiments in the Friendly Conversation stamp set and I especially love the size. Notice how perfectly the ink in the kit matches the flower, you almost can’t see the “c” in cry, this is one of the biggest reasons I use Stampin’ Up products, their paper match their inks, ribbon, twin, embellishments, markers…the list goes on and on.

I used the dragonfly and bumble bee from the Touches of Texture stamp set, added Wink of Stella for some sparkle, fussy cut them then used Multi Purpose liquid glue to attach one side so they would pop up.

The Paper Pumpkin kits have been arriving at my home in the middle of the month for over a year now and I have loved every one of them and the price is so reasonable at only $20.00/month (including shipping). The kits are complete with EVERYTHING you need to complete the projects on the instructions including adhesives, you don’t even need scissors. It’s easy to add some of your own supplies to change things up a little like I have. You can cancel anytime, and next month they promise an fun Halloween project, I can hardly wait!
