Apron of Love Treat Box using Stampin’ Up’s Apron of Love Bundle (and a little chocolate)

Wanted to make a cute little treat box for Mother’s Day because everyone likes a “little” bit of chocolate but I didn’t want to be responsible for any extra pounds by giving a “lot” of chocolate, always a “pleaser”, and I like to have a little treat box for my card classes, found this posted by Cindy Brumbaugh and thought it was perfect with Mother’s Day just around the corner.  The Apron of Love stamp set is so wonderful and versatile, with baking utensils for the ladies and bar-be-que utensils for the men in your life. Buy this set as a bundle with the Apron Builder Framelits Dies and cutting out the adorable utensils in the apron pocket are a snap! In the sentiment above you see “best ever” in Bermuda Bay and “friend” in Berry Burst because they are two different stamps, this set also comes with “mom” and “dad” stamps that fit perfectly between best and ever.

Card Recipe:

Paper:

  • Bermuda Bay card stock, 2 scraps for aprons, 4½ x 3¾, scored at 1¼ on each side
  • Berry Burst, scraps for heart and utensils
  • Silver Foil sheet, scraps for utensils
  • Whisper White scrap (apron sentiment)
  • Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper

Stamp Set & Framelits

  • Apron of Love Bundle

Color:

  • Bermuda Bay stamp pad
  • Berry Burst stamp pad

Other:

About the Author:

I am a proud mother of 4 and even prouder grandmother of 5. I started "stamping" over 25 years ago and stopped stamping about 10 years after that because I was so frustrated with my results. Enter Pinterest. Inspired by Pinterest and Youtube I got involved again and oh man am I obsessed! I fell in love with Stampin' Up products after seeing all the amazing cards on Pinterest. I chose Stampin' Up because I love how simple it is to make a gorgeous card with all their coordinating colors and products. Hope you enjoy my website.
